Get off to a flying start in IT
IT service provider Consist is presenting itself as an employer with innovative recruiting measures like the Fast Track program and appearances at traditional job fairs. The company is growing and wants to expand its team even further.
Kiel – IT service provider Consist, specialist in digital transformation, IT security and Managed Services, located in Kiel, is still growing and is looking for new staff, especially consultants. To do so, Consist is applying a mix of novel event formats and proven job fairs.
Matching Day - a different kind of job interview
Consist held its first Matching Day on April 26, 2019, under the motto "Speed up your career". The event was aimed at IT enthusiasts, who are good at consultation and willing to travel, who would like to start work as an IT consultant quickly. Participants got to know Consist as an employer, consultants at the firm, and gained insight into what a Consist consultant does, along with an overview of specific tasks. The aim of the event was to find candidates for the Fast Track program. This prepares trainees for a quick start into customer projects as part of a 3-month, intensive training course with certification at the end. The first Fast Track will be starting on June 1, 2019 at Consist.
A second Matching Day at Consist is planned due to the great success of the first event.
JOBBUS on May 8, 2019
The JOBBUS offers companies the chance to present themselves as potential employers for IT students from Kiel. Consist is taking part in this event, organized by DiWiSH (Digitale Wirtschaft Schleswig-Holstein). The JOBBUS will be stopping at Consist in Kiel Friedrichsort from 16:45 to 17:45. Employees from various departments at the company will be providing practical insights into their work.
Big-Data-Meetup on May 17, 2019
As part of the Interdisciplinary Week at Kiel University of Applied Sciences (FH Kiel), Consist will be offering the Big-Data-Meetup event in the company building as from 3pm. This will focus on presentations about Big Data with open source tools and the renowned technology, Splunk. Networking opportunities and expert exchange round off the Meetup, which is aimed at FH Kiel students.
